Finishing Things and Thing Twenty-Five: another elephant
Where did the month go? I can't believe it's over already. As far as the main goal of doing something creative every day, I did pretty well. There was only one day that I didn't bother. My personal goal was to finish something each and every day, and at the end of the month, I did 25 Things in 28 days. Not bad! If only I could keep up this pace. Alas, March is about to arrive and I must clean my house, file my taxes, eat a square meal, and do all the other things I didn't bother with during February.
Today I'm posting pictures of two quilt tops I was working on over the weekend, to demonstrate that I did, in fact, complete them. The first is for Charlotte, the one with the bikes is for the new baby. Thing Twenty-Five is another elephant from the same pattern I used for Thing Nineteen, only this time it turned out much better. I managed not to repeat the mistakes I made with my first attempt. And I didn't like my french knot eyes, so I drew them on with a sharpie instead. Last project of the month, complete success. (We won't count the one I gave up on today because I didn't have the energy to re-do all the stitching I had to rip out, okay?)
